Even though I only know you Niki from chatting many times online, my sincere condolences still go out to you and your entire family on your precious loss.  I'm deeply sorry to hear.
Our mutual buddy Ed(sherilboy) passed on this sad news.
Find comfort in knowing that Gods loving arms are wrapped around Nicholas, and seeks to comfort you and your loved ones as well.

   You never expect bad things to happen to your family or friends......but it happened to our family.
     The phone rang in the middle of the night; you always expect bad news when the phone rings that late at night.  My mom explained the situation:  Kevin and Nichole were just going to the hospital to make sure everything was okay.....I had a feeling that there was more to it than that, but honestly I didn't want to think anything was wrong.  I just wanted to wake up; I was hoping it was a bad dream.  I thought nothing bad is going to happen, especially to two incredible people like Kevin and Nichole, but it did.......
     I won't forget the moment I found out what happened....the only thing I could say into my mom's shoulder was "why?"  This is the question I'm sure every one of us asked when we heard the news, no matter how old or how young......I think this is a normal reaction to a tragedy; it is so difficult to grasp.
     I think that this past week has been one of the hardest weeks of my life.....I felt so bad for Kevin and Nichole.  I felt so bad for a beautiful baby boy, Nicholas.  I came across a phrase, by an unknown author, it goes:

"At every point in the human journey we find that we have to let go in order to move forward;  and letting go means dying a little.  In the process we are being created anew.  Awakened afresh to the source of our being"

     It is so hard to accept, every person will deal with this loss in their own way.  Nicholas, your son, your grandchild, my cousin, a nephew and a friend, will always be with our family....just think about it we will all have someone looking over us from above, our little angel, Nicholas Considine.
